ASP West Island

The ASP West Island clinic writes:

Our renos are done!

The last decorating touch of decoration has just been added to the clinic.

The results are very nice, even in the employees' lounge, which has undergone a makeover.

We are very proud of our therapists. This is why they are now clearly identified in a dynamic directory prominently displayed in our clinic.

On the occasion of the Olympic Games, we added an olympic bar to the squat rack and a new ergometer for the arms, to allow more functional rehabilitation in physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

An inspiring rehabilitation

Mr. Daniel Bureau, who has been treated weekly at our clinic for 3 years, told us recently that he no longer needs any pain medication.

After 26 years of suffering from back pain following an accident and several treatments in the magnesphere and in reflexology, Daniel is happy to rediscover a taste for life as he gets Back to Life!

At left, Mr. Daniel Bureau with his therapist Alain Scheldeman, owner of the clinic

A grand victory!

Congratulations to Rory MacDonald for capturing the Bellator World Welterweight Championship in Los Angeles. Rory has been treated by Christophe Szumski, our head osteopath at ASP West Island, for many years. Great team for a fantastic result!

MLS Laser

Our training session on this new laser therapy was really interesting.

Marie-Eve Gauvreau
ASP St-Bruno

Our St-Bruno clinic is happy to announce that osteopath and doula Marie-Eve Gauvreau is back from maternity leave. Marie-Eve has returned to her pediatric and adult patients this past Monday, February 6th.

Last December, the clinic was proud to donate $1,127.00 to Les Amis Soleils in St-Bruno. This donation was made possible thanks to the sale of gel packs and various challenges took on by our team throughout 2016.

This year, the clinic will, once again, do fundraising activities to help this local not-for-profit organisation. Les Amis Soleils offers leisure activities suitable for people living with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disorders.

This upcoming March 7th at 7 p.m., the clinic and physiotherapist Julien Bernier will offer, in collaboration with the city of St-Bruno, a free conference on concussions.

This conference will allow people to recognize the signs and symptoms of a concussion, an injury that often goes unnoticed, as well as learn to detect emergency situations requiring hospitalization. Myths and beliefs will be demystified. There will also be an overview of effective treatments to get back to normal within a reasonable period of time.

The conference will take place at the community center, 53 de la Rabastalière Road East in St-Bruno.

ASP St-Leonard

Our St-Leonard clinic welcomes Christopher Ciccarelli and Anthony Teoli, two physiotherapists, and welcomes back Emilie Belley, who returns from maternity leave.
